Project Overview

Waldner’s successfully delivered and installed four floors of furniture in two weeks for the brand new, $93 million, four-story, state-of-the-art Armed Forces Reserve Center in Farmingdale, NY. The center houses 1,530 troops, administration and support elements from the N.Y. Army National Guard, U.S. Army Reserve, Navy Reserve and Marine Corps Reserve. It contains administrative offices, storage space for military equipment, classrooms, conference rooms and training areas for the maintenance and operation of military equipment. Waldner’s team worked with the client, architect and contractor to change the original design of furniture to accommodate existing electric and data. The project management team received 4-6 trailers of furniture per day to accommodate the aggressive two week delivery schedule.
