Broadridge is a leading provider of investor communications and technology-driven-solutions to banks, broker-dealers, mutual funds, and corporations globally. Waldner’s has provided furniture and move related services to Broadridge, nationally since 2008.

The management team at Broadridge had been considering switching from the conventional cubicle design to an open plan system for several years. After Steelcase and Waldner’s provided Broadridge with sample bench solutions, they decided to use the Edgewood location as a springboard to a new way of working. Due to space constrictions in their finance departments they decided to relocate two different finance branch offices into one building with 125 employees transitioning from a cubicle to benching workspace. The benching solutions proved to be more economical than the conventional cubicles while simultaneously maximizing their real estate potential. They were able to allocate more room to each employee than they had before and have the ability to add additional workstations as they grow. The benching system and collaborative and break areas allow for open communication between workers and have overall improved employee engagement. To balance the open plan environment, they installed Qt Pro, a sound masking system engi¬neered to provide exceptional sound masking in today’s changing workplace.
