Our Planet is an amazing place. Home to rocky mountains, vast valleys, boundless oceans, and an animal kingdom filled with millions of different species – including you and me! Similar to how we take care of our own homes, we need to take steps in helping the Earth thrive too. That’s why billions of people around the world come together on Earth Day, April 22nd and take the necessary actions towards protecting our shared home, Earth.

Waldner’s Part in Sustainable Furniture

Refurbishing furniture is a fantastic way to breathe new life into old pieces and create stunning, sustainable spaces. At Waldner’s, we offer a wide range of services including reupholstering, refinishing, repainting, and blending, to transform tired, worn-out furniture into beautiful, functional pieces.

We Stand Behind Those Who Help

As a leader in the office furniture industry, Waldner’s takes pride in working with sustainable manufacturers. Waldner’s prioritizes manufacturers that hold certifications and comply with recognized sustainability standards, such as Cradle to Cradle, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), and BIFMA (Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association) level certifications. By doing so, we aim to create a positive impact on the environment and contribute to a more sustainable future for our customers and the communities we serve.

Learn More About Steelcase’s

First Carbon Neutral Product

Throughout the Series 1 Chair’s life cycle, carbon emissions are carefully measured, calculated, and verified by a trusted third party. All emissions are 100% offset through various sustainability efforts, such as forest management, renewable energy initiatives, cleaner cooking programs, and electric transportation solutions. For Steelcase, achieving carbon neutrality with the Series 1 is just the beginning. Steelcase plans to expand its carbon-neutral portfolio by conducting additional life cycle assessments on more of its products. They are consistently enhancing their product development process to reduce their impact on climate change, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
